Revvo Manufacture of Vulkollan Polyurethane
In March of 1998, Bayer AG granted Revvo Castor Co., Ltd. an agreement to manufacture Vulkollan on-site in Christchurch, England. This development enhanced Revvo's existing TDI and MDI polyurethane production facility and expertise in the manufacture of hot-cast elastomers.
Developed in the 1950's by Bayer, Vulkollan is unsurpassed as a tire material due to its unique combination of dynamic and mechanical properties.
During the installation of the Vulkollan manufacturing process, Revvo received technical training from Bayer at both Christchurch and the Bayer Laboratories in Leverkussen, Germany.
Vulkollan manufacture is highly complex, and with more than 10 years manufacturing experience and the sales and service of Vulkollan caster wheels, Revvo has gained a reputation for expertise in Vulkollan. Revvo customers enjoy greater advantages while minimizing the risk of working with new suppliers when they depend on Revvo for Vulkollan caster and wheel products.
As part of the arrangement, Revvo markets its Vulkollan-manufactured wheels as "Revvothane" polyurethane wheels.
